Polish operator says Russia sends clean oil via 3 Druzhba threads

WARSAW, Jul 2 (PRIME) -- Clean Russian oil comes to Poland through all the three threads of the Druzhba pipeline, local pipeline operator PERN said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Oil has been sent to the Adamowo acceptance point via all the three threads of the Druzhba pipeline since the start of July… According to the roadmap, oil will be pumped with lower pressure in the first half of July. Higher performance can be expected in the second half of the month," it said.

On Monday, Igor Dyomin, adviser to Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft's president said that his company had fully resumed oil pumping via the pipeline.

The problem with the quality of oil coming from Russia to Europe across Belarus via the pipeline appeared in April. In Belarus, the Druzhba pipeline splits into two strings, one of which stretches to Poland and Germany, and the other to Ukraine, Slovakia and Hungary.
